What is Reiki? In a nutshell, Reiki is a natural healing technique that uses gentle touch to encourage physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual balance by restoring balance to our lives and unblocking the inner flow of our life force energy. As a Reiki practitioner, you will be able to use this healing technique to assist loved ones, acquaintances, and even complete strangers in transforming the world.
Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”) is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that a life force energy flows through us and around us. If one's life force energy is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
Reiki level I and II are taught together during a two-day intensive workshop. It includes a combination of the Western style as introduced by Mrs. Takata, the Japanese style and the Holy Fire Energies. We will cover the origin and history of Reiki. We will also discuss the nature of Reiki energy; why people get sick and how Reiki heals.
This Reiki Level I and II attunement will equip you with a personal self-care and healing routine that you can use whenever and wherever you like to bring more happiness and abundance into every aspect of your life.
Reiki Master is the next step for the dedicated Reiki practitioner. In the process of learning how to facilitate the experiences, placements and ignitions as well as taking part in the guided meditations, each student will receive many healing experiences. As part of this training, you will learn how to use Master techniques to facilitate deeper healing for clients during sessions. After this attunement, you will be able to teach first through third degrees of Reiki along with Master training to others. While the content of the class will allow you to teach if you choose, many take the class for their own use or to use with family and friends.
The ability to teach others and pass on this amazing gift of Reiki is a powerful advancement. Becoming a Reiki Master is a great honor and an ongoing humbling experience, as the true depth of Reiki is revealed. This training is taught 1:1 individually. A student must have taken Reiki I & II and have been practicing Reiki II for at least 6 months.

Karuna is a Sanskrit word and is used in Hinduism and Buddhism. It is translated to mean any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others and could also be translated as "compassionate action." In Buddhist literature it is stated that Karuna must be accompanied by prajna or wisdom in order to have the right effect. When individuals experience enlightenment, they report that all beings are known as one. Therefore, it is natural to extend compassionate action or Karuna to everyone without distinction because we are all one. As we help others and aid them in their healing process, all beings benefit. In the same way that you would want to heal your own wounds, you would also want the wounds of others to heal.
To qualify to take this training, a student must have been a Reiki Master for at least 6 months and be able to draw the Reiki II and Master symbols from memory. This training is the next step after Reiki Master and is both a practitioner and a Master training.
